It all began on December 14, 2024 when our dear friends Ben and Bailey Roeder asked Tyler to go to dinner one night. They shared some really exciting news with him - Bailey was pregnant with their first child! How can the dinner get better than that? Well, as we were wrapping up, Ben and Bailey mentioned they had been thinking about setting Tyler up with one of their friends. Her name was Hannah and they thought that we would be a great fit. Well, we sure are! Here’s to you, Ben and Bailey (and Bonnie)! We are so grateful for you two. Our first date was two days after Christmas at a coffee shop called Sugar & Sage in Highland Park. Remember this - it plays a big role later in our story. We spent more than two hours together and the time flew by. Our next few dates included lunch and a walk around White Rock Lake, a dinner date, a trip to the Perot Museum, and a friendly game of pickleball. After our fifth date, we officially became a couple and never looked back! At any given time while dating, you could find us on a walk at White Rock Lake, relaxing by the pool at Tyler’s apartment, cooking a meal, or watching various sporting events. We both love routines and quickly found them in our relationship. We also love our Aggies and have watched and attended our fair share of Aggie victories (and losses, unfortunately) since dating. You should also ask Hannah her opinion on Tyler booing! Just about a year after we went on our first date, we went back to Sugar & Sage. Well, more accurately, Tyler knew that is where we were going, Hannah did not. On January 3rd, 2026, Tyler proposed at the same coffee shop where we met. In fact, the setup was on the same table where we first got to know each other. It is a place, and a moment, that we will cherish forever! We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with each and every one of you! All of you have made such a positive impact on our lives. Our prayer for the wedding and our marriage is that the Lord gets all the glory! We want our lives, and therefore this ceremony, to be a joyful praise unto Him.
