Our Story
Our story began in June of 2023 when mutual friends introduced us at the Oconto BBQ (thank you, Emma!). We went on our first date the following day—golfing at Johnson Lake. Luckily for us, the date went much better than our golf games, and the rest is history!
By October of 2023, we made things official! For much of our relationship, we navigated long distance, with one of us in PA school in Omaha and the other living and working in Lexington. While the miles between us weren’t always easy, they made the time we spent together even more special and filled our weekends with some of our favorite memories.
In September of 2025, Sam proposed, and we’ve been looking forward to this next chapter ever since. We are so grateful for the friends and family who have supported us, encouraged us, and shared in our journey.
