Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a Welcome Party on Thursday Evening, November 20th. The Ceremony and Reception will be Friday November 21st. Lastly, we will have a wind down event on Saturday. Please check back for more details as we get closer to the Wedding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is formal, gowns are encouraged however, tuxes are not required. There are brief descriptions of dress codes under each event!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we have limited our guest list to close friends and family and can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate your little ones, we politely request that there be no children under the age of 13 at the reception. However, the resort is family friendly and you may bring your family along to enjoy the rest of the weekend with you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are plenty of hotels and Airbnb's in downtown Sarasota. However, please visit our "Room Blocks" link for specific reservation and transportation information.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be transportation within the resort for our guests who are staying on property. There will also be a shuttle from the Westin to the Ceremony the day and night of the wedding. There are also plenty of Ubers in the area and anyone not staying at our resort or Westin may take the shuttles provided to the ceremony if they'd like.
