What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request that guests dress in formal attire to help us celebrate our special day.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle service will be provided to and from both of the hotels listed on the accommodations page - The Yorktowne Hotel and Courtyard York. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area. Parking is available on site for those who wish to drive themselves to the venue.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, children under the age of 13 are not invited to the wedding. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you! For children under the age of 13, we will have a babysitter available on the property. Please contact the bride or groom if you are interested and would like more information.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let either the bride or groom know of any dietary restrictions or allergies and the caterer will gladly accommodate

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be held under Historic Shady Lane's tent. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place in the enclosed greenhouse.
