The change in elevation is different for everyone. If you are coming from sea level, you will likely notice a difference. If you are drinking, it is likely that you will start to feel the effects of alcohol sooner than you are used to, and require less consumption than usual. Please keep this in mind while consuming alcohol both at the reception and through the duration of your stay in Colorado.

The drive to Estes Park from the airport starts off following the interstate and highways. The last stretch of the drive will be through some mountain towns, and lastly you will follow HWY 36 all the way up to Estes Park . Once you pass through the town of Lyons along Highway 36, cell phone service is typically unavailable for about 20 minutes or so until you get into Estes Park. We highly encourage you to write down or take a screenshot of directions prior to leaving the airport/on your way back to the airport. Once you arrive in Estes Park, cell service is typically just fine! The drive into Estes Park is scenic and beautiful. If this is your first time driving into Estes Park, you will likely end up driving slower than usual. If that's the case, please utilize the several "pull offs for slow drivers" on your way up and down the mountain in order to let others pass you.
COVID-19 and the precautions that go along with the pandemic are ever changing. We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and will share if any changes or accomodations need to be made regarding our wedding. In the event masks are required, or our venue's capacity decreases, we will make our guests aware. Please check back frequently, or reach out to Abby if you have any questions.
