We're so glad you asked! We're envisioning garden formal attire—think dressy and polished with an outdoor elegance. We'd love to see bright, fun colors, so please feel free to express yourself! The only thing we ask is that you skip the jeans and denim.

Can I bring a date?

We’re so excited to celebrate with those listed on the invitation. Unfortunately, we’re only able to accommodate named guests. Thank you so much for understanding!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

As long as the weather cooperates, our ceremony will take place outdoors behind the beautiful historic house, surrounded by the scenic North Carolina trees. Cocktail hour and the reception will be held primarily indoors so everyone can celebrate comfortably all evening long!

What are my parking options?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at The Upchurch, and guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight as long as they are picked up by 10 AM the following morning. There are plenty of Uber, Lyft, and carpooling options in the area if you plan to enjoy the evening!
