Our Story

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Jordan first stumbled across Kelsie’s profile on March 26, 2019. He was instantly struck by the captivating beauty of her eyes. As he read her profile, he began to sense her heart. He genuinely thought there was no way she would ever be interested in him, but something kept him there. He typed out a message and deleted it. Typed out another one and deleted that. Finally, he settled on a message that was short, but personal. Something along the lines of: “Hey you like golf and Jesus? Me too! I’m Jordan.” Groundbreaking and riveting words that speak to the heart wouldn’t you say? There was an instant connection that grew rapidly into a "once in a lifetime" love. On February 22, 2020 Jordan and Kelsie were engaged overlooking the 18th green at Pebble Beach. It was a short engagement due to the pandemic and the fact they couldn’t wait to call each other husband and wife. On June 13, 2020, they were married in an intimate ceremony with their immediate families. Psalm 37:23-24 “The steps of a man are established by the Lord when he delights in His way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the Lord is the one who holds his hand.” This couple experienced marriage before, but it was not a God ordained love and therefore it failed. Yet, God was the one holding their hands and while they stumbled through the season of divorce, the Lord did not let them fall. Instead, He held their hands tightly, like a loving Father. God worked through pain, rejection, and loss and replaced it with joy, love, fulfillment, and a lifelong best friend. Their faith in God resulted in a marriage to each other. Their hope, grounded in the biblical understanding of marriage, was rewarded with a partnership built on the everlasting principles of a loving God. Their love is a deliberate practice of the sacrificial love that Jesus gives to all. Kelsie and Jordan’s story is one of redemption and love that Hollywood could not write, because God alone is the author of "Our Story."
