We ask that all our guests RSVP via the RSVP card that was included in the invitation and return it by December 30, 2025.
Our Wedding Ceremony will be held promptly at 5:30pm in the Watermill Caterers Indoor Chapel. Please arrive by 5:15pm to give time to find seats.
We are asking all guests to wear their best formal attire.
We are not allowing additional plus ones to our wedding, as we’d like to keep our guest list intimate as we want to celebrate with everyone we know and love.
While we love all the kids in our lives, we hope you will understand our request to take a night off and come celebrate with us at our adults-only reception immediately following the ceremony.
We already have a Photographer and Videographer capturing the night for us so we kindly ask that you keep our ceremony “unplugged” and enjoy the moment with us.
Yes! Please do and share it with the couple too! Please use the hashtag #theschaaffswedding so the couple can find it on all platforms!
We’ll be serving hors d’oeurves at cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be a vegetarian option.
Our wedding has an open bar! It will also be heavily photographed so any shenanigans will be documented and thoroughly mocked for YEARS to come so please be prepared!
We will not be able to provide transportation for our Wedding Guests throughout the wedding weekend. Our ceremony, cocktails and reception are being held at one location, Watermill Caterers, in hopes it would make it easier for those concerned about traveling.
No however we can recommend the Hyatt in Hauppauge if you are planning to stay anywhere close to the venue site.
Like most couples who have known each other for a while, we’re surrounded by all the household treasures anyone could ever want or need. No gifts are ever required, but if you’d like to give a gift, something towards our honeymoon fund would make our day.
