Take a stroll around Downtown Brenham! On the square you'll find some of our favorite restaurants like Must Be Heaven, Country Sunshine, TABU Tacos and Burgers and 96 West. There are plenty of shops right on the square and just a few blocks back if you're looking for some goodies. Definitely pop into Hermann Furniture, Tres Chic, the Pomegranate and Ballad of the Bird Dog. If you want to grab a drink, Home Sweet Farm Market & Biergarten, Floyd's Wine Lounge, Brown Water Cigar Bar, Main Street Uncorked, MAS VINO and Pioneer Smokehouse are some of the best spots in town.
Spend some time exploring the charming, quintessential Texas small town that we love so much! Round Top is known as an antique destination with antique shows several times a year, but beyond those annual shows, there is plenty of shopping available to find one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, accessories and knick knacks. Stroll around Henkel Square, pop into Wimberly to find a pair of boots and a branded hat and try a slice of pie at Royers Pie Haven
Everyone that's ever met Whitney knows that Brenham is the hometown of Blue Bell Ice Cream. So, go check it out while you're here! Grab a Blue Bell hat and scoop of ice cream from the parlor. Whitney's favorite is Southern Blackberry Cobbler and Jackson likes Cookies and Cream.
One of our favorite stores in Brenham! You can find leather goods, treats for your coffee bar, cocktail goodies and more. Their selection of greeting cards is our favorite part. While you're shopping, grab a coffee at Mescalito or pastries at To Pieces, both inside the store.
If you're driving back home, take a bottle of Texas liquor or wine back with you! When Whitney lived in Texas during Covid, the selection of Texas-made wine kept her sane.
If you aren't able to swing by Friday night for the Sip and Socialize welcome party, take some time to grab a cocktail at Ellis Motel. They call it the "best little dive bar in Texas" for a reason! The decor and selection of cocktails makes it an experience you don't want to miss!
This is our favorite restaurant in Round Top! They're known for their world-famous (literally!) pies. We'll never stop coming for date night.
One of the best breakfast spots in the area! Blue Willow is in Burton, nestled just between Brenham and Round Top, and is a must-stop for their french toast.
If you're looking for a delicious wood fired pizza, this is the place to go! The Stone Cellar is a popular spot for local Texas musicians to play, so we'll update this section if any shows are booked during the wedding weekend.
Grab a seat on the porch and enjoy the weather! You'll find beers local to Texas as well as your domestic favorites.
This is one of Round Top's most historic buildings! It's a wine bar with the most intimate courtyard patio.
Stop by and try one of Brenham's very own beers. The outdoor patio is a great place to chill and relax.
For our history buffs. Go check out where Texas became Texas! This is where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed.
The world's smallest Catholic church is located just down the road from The Compound if you want to pay a visit. The church can hold 20 people at a time and was built in 1888.
A family-owned and operated whiskey tasting room just outside of Round Top. Kooper Family whiskey can only be purchased in Texas and California.
The greater Brenham area has several wonderful wineries to explore. Among the list are Windy Winery, Texas Star Winery, Saddlehorn Winery, Pleasant Hill Winery, Chapelton Vineyard and Rosemary's Vineyard and Winery.
