Downtown Cabo has tons of shopping for local artesian goods, casual food spots, and bars to duck inside and enjoy a drink when it gets too hot. We recommend starting at the Marina and exploring from there. However, dining and shopping in the Marina is more "upscale" so we suggest heading a few blocks into town from here for a more authentic experience. Our favorite places to grab a taco are Taco Guss and Taqueria El Paisa. Make sure to also stop in and have a drink in the Smallest Bar in the World!
If you're looking to enjoy a beach day with swimming, shopping, and beach bars, we recommend taking the resort shuttle to PB Rose or PB Los Cabos. Sunset Beach does not allow ocean access due to extreme riptides on the Pacific side of Cabo. These sister resorts are about 15 minutes away on Medano Beach, which has calmer waters and allows for swimming. Our favorite things to do on Medano Beach are to shop from local vendors on the beach, swim in the clear water, and get a massage at the Sand Bar nearby. We strongly recommend walking towards the marina and checking out one of the many restaurants on the beach. Our favorites are the Office, Mango Deck, and Baja Brewing.
Looking for a night out? At PB Sunset Beach, the bar The After is open late night and hosts different events. Downtown, there are endless clubs, bars, and restaurants to enjoy. We recommend El Squid Roe, Señor Frogs, and Cabo Wabo.
