José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) is the main airport serving Medellín, located about 30–40 minutes from the city.

How do I get around in Medellín?

Taxis and ride-share apps like Uber or InDriver are available. We’ll also provide shuttle details closer to the wedding date.

What is the weather like in Medellín?

Answer

Medellín is known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” with year-round mild weather (70s–80s °F / low 20s °C). Light layers and comfortable shoes are recommended. In Rionegro the weather is colder so please bring something to stay warm for the actual wedding!

What currency is used in Colombia?

The local currency is the Colombian Peso (COP). Credit cards are widely accepted, and ATMs are available, but having some cash on hand is helpful.
