Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP via the "RSVP" link on our website by August 31, 2025.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, a guest was listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we are keeping our wedding an intimate event with family and close friends. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adult-only event. The only exception will be the little ones participating in the wedding. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!

Question

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by our August 31st deadline, you will be marked as "not attending" so that we are able to give our vendors an accurate guest count in a timely manner.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Our room block is located at the Hampton Inn in Hazleton. Check out the "Travel" tab on our site for more information on the room block and additional lodging options.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Catalpa Grove at Lakewood Park (26 Park Avenue, Barnesville PA 18214). The ceremony and cocktail hour (weather permitting) will take place outside.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Suggested attire is formal / cocktail attire. We recommend dressing for fall as we hope our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure everyone is seated on time.

Question

How do I travel to/from the venue?

Answer

Transportation is provided. A shuttle will depart the Hampton Inn at 2:20pm and 3:20pm for our 4:00pm ceremony. We ask that all immediate family and members of the wedding party depart on the 2:20pm shuttle. A shuttle will also be available at the end of the night to bring guests back to the Hampton Inn. There is parking on site for any guests that wish to drive.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an "unplugged ceremony". We have hired an award winning photographer to capture one of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. We ask that you wait for the cocktail hour and reception to use your phone/devices. We encourage you to take all the photos and videos you'd like at that time as well as upload those photos and videos to our Google Drive album that will be accessible via QR codes placed around the venue!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be beer, wine, champagne, and two signature drinks (as well as non-alcoholic beverages).

Question

Do I need to bring anything special?

Answer

The official wrap up to the evening will include The Money Dance. The Money Dance is a Polish tradition that takes place at the end of a wedding reception. To the tune of a lively Polka, guests form a circle and toss dollar bills into the Maid of Honor's apron for a turn to dance with the bride. The collected money is usually given to the newlyweds to use on their honeymoon. Anyone that wishes to participate is encouraged to bring their dollar bills!

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Should you wish to purchase a gift from our registry, we kindly ask guests to mail the gift to the address listed as we will be traveling and may not have room to bring everything home with us! There will be a card box at the venue.
