Will the wedding & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting the wedding and reception will be outdoors.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by October 15, 2025. We unfortunately will not be able to accommodate this after the deadline.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45pm as the ceremony will be starting promptly at 4pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the evening is black tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark colored suit and tie. For women, floor length evening gowns are encouraged but a mid length dress is also appropriate.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Are kids welcome?

The bride and groom kindly ask you to refrain from bringing your children.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Sheraton McKinney. The information for the hotel and the room block is on the website with the welcome party information

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy please alert the bride and groom immediately so we can accommodate you in the best way possible.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue offers parking and will allow you to leave your car in the parking lot until noon the next day.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle available at the Sheraton McKinney for round trip transport.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are hosting a welcome party on Friday evening at The Stix Icehouse in McKinney from 6pm-10pm. This will be a very casual affair where the bride and groom will get to mingle with everyone before the wedding.

Do I have to go to the welcome party?

Answer

No! This event is totally optional. Of course we would love to see you before the wedding and get more quality time together, but it is absolutely not mandatory.
