Important Travel Requirement

On May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights. If you're traveling to Puerto Rico for our wedding, please note that all guests flying must have a REAL ID, Enhanced ID or a valid passport to board their flight. Standard identification like permits or driver's license without a REAL ID marking (star and/or flag) will NOT be accepted for air travel.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Before the big day, we'd love to see you all for a fun night out! Join us at La Placita for a casual bar hop. No formal RSVP- just show up and have a great time with us!

What is La Placita?

Answer

On a weekend night, La Placita de Santurce turns into one of the most electric and lively party spots in Puerto Rico. The atmosphere is a blend of street festival, nightclub, and local hangout, all rolled into one! Enjoy live music, cocktails, and dancing in the streets!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Royal Sonesta, San Juan. The ceremony will be held outside on the boardwalk and the reception will follow in the Azucenas Ballroom.

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

An unplugged wedding ceremony is one that asks guests to refrain from using their phones to take photos or upload on social media for the duration of the ceremony.

Is there parking available at the hotel?

Answer

The current overnight valet parking charge is $35 + tax. If you are staying at an Airbnb or another hotel, we suggest using Uber to go to and from The Royal Sonesta.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event with the exception of those in the wedding party.
