On Sunday, December 1st, we met on the interesting world of online dating! At the time, we both worked in small offices and didn't really get the chance to meet people often. The first time I met Santana in person, I said "I'm going to marry this man!” He was such a gentleman and it was incredibly different from anything I'd ever experienced. We're so grateful to have each other!

In October of 2021, we traveled to Tuscany, Italy for my Aunt Maria's beautiful wedding to her husband Tim. We spent the first four days doing wedding activities and the second four days exploring the towns of Italy. On the first day we went off on our own, we had the best day riding bikes, exploring around Lucca, and drinking cappuccinos galore! After Lucca, we wanted to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We made the short drive over to Pisa and it was PACKED! I asked him if we could take a photo of us "holding up the leaning tower" and he set up his phone across the way. Little did I know, he was videotaping us because he was about to propose! I was blown away because I had no idea. The setting, the ring, and the engagement were a dream come true!
