Hello, my name is JenJen. I’m Charmaine’s older cousin. I’ve known her my whole life except for a few years we were separated at 5yo then reconnected at 10yo cause our parents were fighting (just kidding). Charmaine and Lou’s love story couldn’t have been more of a cliché. It was really one of those when you know, you know situations. I remember when she told me about their first date and how they were already planning their next few ones that same week. It was easy, healthy, and different in a good way. Then I met Lou: very level headed, mature, and knew what he wanted. Of course, I questioned him on his intentions and plans with her, and he has pulled through with his promises. Turns out that wasn’t true and it began our lifelong friendship. Char and I truly grew up like sisters as we lived down the street from each other. There were countless walks to and from school, the mall, and to absolutely nowhere. I’ve gotten to see Char through so many stages of life and I’m so honored to stand by her as she marries the love of her life. Lou and Char are the absolute perfect match for each other. Hi everyone! I’m Tiffany, and I’ve been Char’s best friend for over ten years. We first met while working at Shabu House and became very close over the years, even though our friendship started with me saying with a very straight-face “no” to her 21st birthday invite at Origin. We still laugh about that moment today. Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories, but one that stands out the most, is the night she came over for dinner after work. In the middle of our meal, she got a random DM from a guy and kept asking me whether she should reply or not. That message turned out to be from Lou — and who would’ve guessed that one simple DM would turn into the love story we’re celebrating today? I know that all of Char and Lou’s friends know about the DM that started it all but I am truly honored to have been there to witness the DM in real time! Seeing Char so happy and loved by Lou truly means the world to me.

I met Lou in high school, and we’ve been friends ever since, probably cause we always laugh at the same stupid jokes. Lou has always been a good friend to me, but ever since Charmaine became a part of his life, he’s been like, a way better friend, so I think this whole thing is gonna work out. I’ll always remember when Lou first mentioned Charmaine — he was hella antsy (as usual) for everyone to meet her. Hello everyone, I’m Kevin! I’ve known Lou since high school maybe even before that, back in middle school since he was close friends with my twin sister, Skevina (aka Sabrinna). From my early barber days at The Cutlery, I’d always see this dude roll in with basketball shorts, Crocs, a quarter-zip sweater, and that snowboard beanie taper lookin’ like a 7 dwarfs legend in the making 😂. That was almost 19 years ago, and since then, it’s been nothing but memories: parties, clubs, cuts, and deep talks that never get old. Lou’s one of the realest, most genuine guys you’ll ever meet always down for anything and bringing good energy wherever he goes. Fast forward to when Lou brought Char to The Village after Christmas at the park. I thought she’d be chill… but gaaaahhhhdamn 😂 she came in turnt up! Loud, hilarious, full of energy—but also loving, caring, and down to earth. That combo is perfect for my brother Lou. The joy and laughter you two share are unmatched. Char, thank you for giving Lou the happiness and love he deserves I know he does the same for you. Watching your growth together has been beautiful, nothing but love, success, and balance between you two. Keep exploring, building, and laughing. I know Peppy and Calvin are beyond proud of you both. Hi I’m Paul! I met Lou in Geometry class at El Camino in ‘08 or ‘09, and we got close during our track & field days. Our friendship grew stronger as the years went by. From small kick-its to house parties, followed by camping trips to Vegas trips, each one of those “changed my life”, as Lou would say. Of all those memories, my favorite would have to be one of the many late nights at the Nacor’s house. Me, Aly (gf at the time, now wife) and Lou were talking outside, catching up on life. Lou began talking about Char, and how he couldn’t wait for us to meet her. He had a certain glow to his face and a tone in his voice that I’ve never seen or heard from Lou before, so I knew he wasn’t lying when he proceeded to say, “I think she’s the one.” Fast forward to today, Char is like a sister to me who I love to death. There isn’t another person in the world more perfect for my brother Lou. Lou & Char, I love y’all with all my heart and I can’t wait to celebrate you guys!

Hello! I'm Kevin Joaquin, but everyone knows me as Baby Kev. I've known Lou since we were kids... back when watching TV and playing video games in the morning before school was our biggest worry. There was a brief time when he moved away to Texas and I thought I'd never see him again. Fast forward, he moves back to the Bay, we end up closer than ever, and we start overlapping on everything: taking the same college classes, working in finance, and just plain having fun. Knowing Lou over the years... and seeing him w/ Char today... it's clear they're a perfect match for each other. Picking my favorite moment with these two is easy... whenever they'd visit NYC, we'd paint the town red and sing a little Karaoke... Looking forward to meeting everyone and celebrating the marriage of these two!
