Our story began way back in 4th grade at Sisk Elementary School in Salida, where we first met in Mrs. Willey’s class. Little did we know that this friendship would grow into something so much more. From that point on, we were inseparable, always in the same friend group. Lexi cheering for the Salida Steelers, and Nikhil playing football for the same team. During winter break, Lexi would often visit Nikhil’s house to bake with his mom, Monica, where their bond began to blossom. Monica spoiled Lexi at the football games, and this became a cherished tradition that continued through high school, where Nikhil played and Lexi cheered on the sidelines. In our senior year, we grew even closer, sharing all the fun senior activities and making memories that would last a lifetime. After high school, we both attended Stanislaus State, and in May 2023, we proudly graduated together, marking another milestone in our journey. We’ve been side by side through school, life, and now, love. From childhood friends to soulmates, we are thrilled to start this next chapter, our marriage. Continuing to build a life filled with love, laughter, and the same strong bond we’ve had since that first day we met.
