In 2015, A friend of mine posted about Kristen’s music, and when I listened to it I knew I needed to find her. Two years later, my brother and I were given the opportunity to sing and play at a youth conference in Indianapolis. Kristen and I had still never met, but she had recently started following and supporting mine and my brother’s music. I reached out to Kristen and invited her to sing one of her songs at the concert we were going to sing at. She came to the conference, we met, and we played together for the concert. Later that week, we ended up talking for a few hours until we had to catch our flights home (to opposite sides of the U.S.). We didn’t tell eachother then, but looking back now we both knew that after talking for those few hours, we knew that this was never going to end. For a few months we talked back and forth, face-timed, and then visited eachother a few times before making things official in January of 2018. Since then, we have both been attending Christian Life College, and will both be receiving our Bachelor’s Degrees in May of 2021. We celebrated 3 years of dating this past January, and I proposed to Kristen on February 6, 2021 in San Francisco, where I first visited her on her 18th birthday in November of 2017. Our love story was written by God, and we have devoted our lives to Him as we have gotten closer to eachother. We truly believe that God brought us together, from 2,000 miles apart, and has blessed us beyond what both of us could have ever imagined. We are so excited to celebrate the next season of life for us with all of our family and friends on May 28, 2021 at Kristen’s childhood home.
