We met during our very first week at Keene State College in 2014 and quickly grew into the same tight-knit friend group. What started as an instant friendship turned into ten years of late nights, trips to the mountains and the beach, birthday celebrations, breakfast dates, and pretty much every memory in between. If something fun was happening, chances are we were there together. In 2022, Alyssa moved to Colorado, and for a while our story stayed exactly what it had always been. Best friends, just a few more miles apart. Then, during one of Kevin’s visits in 2023, everything changed. Somewhere between catching up and not wanting the weekend to end, we realized our friendship had grown into something more. Cue long-distance dating, endless FaceTimes, surprise flowers, shared Spotify playlists, and even dog toys sent across the country for Marmee. Through the miles and the messages, we fell completely in love. Before long, Kevin packed up his life and his cat, Milo, and moved across the country. It was a whirlwind from there; we got engaged in June 2025, moved back to the East Coast, and somehow turned two best friends, one cat, one dog, and a whole lot of love into a little family. After ten years of friendship and one perfectly timed love story, we cannot wait to say “I do” and start the next chapter of our lives together!
