THE SALDIVARS

It all started when two people swiped right... I mean... it technically did start there, but, it truly started when Sam commented on Nikki's picture with Sage saying "your dog is really photogenic" ...HAHA. After talking for a few days, Sam asked Nikki to come meet him at Booker's after his softball game...where she also met half of the softball team too! We hit it off right away, chatting up a storm, laughing, and having tequila shots. We spent any time we could together, between going to each other's place on weeknights to spending as many weekends as we could together. 6 months in the pandemic hit and Sam moved in with Nikki and the rest is history...

Knowing that Michaela would be coming up to visit for the weekend, Nikki planned a full day with Michaela, Sam and friends... not knowing she was planning her own engagement. As Sam, Nikki and Michaela were on the train back to Crystal Lake, Ashley, Erin, Jess and Nikki's parents were setting up the gazebo for the most beautiful engagement. As we walked up to the gazebo, there were flower petals all over the ground, candles lining the outside of the gazebo, and pink hearts at the entrance. We stood in the center of the gazebo and the next thing you know, Sam is on his knee asking Nikki to marry him, and SHE SAID YES!! We look around to our friends and family standing there, as they hid and watched the whole thing - it was absolutely perfect!
