In September of 2023 Arianna started attending The Porch (a young adults ministry) in search of Christian community. Little did she know the whole story God had in mind. The second week she went she went alone and noticed a handsome guy sitting behind her. Samuel noticed the cute girl in front of him and wanted to get to know her more. When community time came, he and his friends invited her to sit with them. Arianna sat with them, with the handsome boy at the other end. They didn’t talk much but when Arianna got up to leave Samuel did as well. They had a mutual friend they talked about and continued to walk out of church when Sam politely offered to walk Arianna to her car. Then Sam as the gentleman he is, asked Arianna for her number “to talk about church” and asked her out for coffee (which he absolutely despises but knew she loved). From then the two chatted throughout their days and finally went on a four hour coffee date. Yes it was actually four hours. They started hanging out “just as friends” and finally went on our true first date in late October. God continued to move and on November 5, 2023 our love story truly began with a dance in the headlights on some random country road.

Samuel and Arianna had spent the summer of 2024 traveling and just having a blast with each other when the opportunity to go to Hawaii was presented to them. Samuel took this opportunity to give Arianna the greatest surprise of her life. Arianna being her nosey self was highly suspicious and Samuel did everything he could to convince her it wasn’t happening. On August 7th, 2024 during their photos on the beach Samuel got down on one knee and Arianna couldn’t have been more overjoyed to spend the rest of her life with the man she had prayed her whole life for! We are so excited to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter with you and hope to see you August 8th, 2026!
