We are getting married!

Jeff and Mandy’s love story is, in a lot of ways, a story about traveling and distances. Unfortunately in the beginning, the distances were traveled apart from each other (at one point were 8000+ miles apart!) but after a lot of patience, trust, sacrifice, and love, these distances now get travelled together. Jeff and Mandy lived in Waukesha, Wisconsin throughout high school, but it wasn't their time to find each other. They found each other when Jeff was at college in Minnesota and came home for Thanksgiving his sophomore year and went to a small group that Mandy was also at. Jeff and Mandy remember it as love at first sight. (Yes, love at first sight is real-we are living it). Despite Jeff driving back to Minnesota the next morning, the two began to talk and eventually began relationship. A relationship that would span across 2 states for the majority of the next 3 years, and span across the entire globe while Jeff was studying in Asia and Mandy was starting off college. These times weren’t easy, they required a lot of trust and patience. As you can imagine, these were extremely formative experiences that Mandy and Jeff were going through, and even though they weren't physically together, they were able to work around time-zones and technology (or lack thereof) and have communication with each other to support one another and dream about a day that they'd be together in the same location for good. Eventually, that finally happened. Due to Mandy’s amazing ability to plan, set, and reach goals, and Jeff's amazing ability for support and passion, the two have finally been able to travel together - not apart. They’ve been to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Japan, France, Spain, and Thailand, and plan for many more. They now live in a little apartment with their kitties Mochi and Nawa (named after their first trip together to Okinawa, Japan), and look forward to a life full of love and adventure together.
