Our celebration will take place on April 12, 2026, in CASA CAMOLESE, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The dress code is Elegant Garden Attire: think florals, flowing dresses, pastels or bright colors, light suits, and chic hats or fascinators. Please leave the all-white looks for the bride.
April is fall in Brazil, but in Rio it feels like summer! Expect warm days (mid-70s to mid-80s °F / 24–29 °C) and balmy evenings. A light shawl or jacket is nice to have for the evening breeze.
For U.S. citizens, it is now required a tourist visa to enter Brazil. It’s an easy and quick process (it can take up to 20 business days, but usually less), but we recommend applying early to make sure you get it in time for the wedding: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/
Fly into Rio de Janeiro–Galeão International Airport (GIG). It’s a 30–40 minute drive to the best areas of Rio.
We recommend staying in Ipanema, Leblon, or Copacabana for the best access to the beach, restaurants, and the wedding venue. Barra da Tijuca is also a great neighborhood, just a little bit further away.
Uber is safe and reliable, and yellow taxis are also common. Walking and biking is pleasant in beach neighborhoods during the day, but we suggest Uber at night.
Rio is vibrant and beautiful, but like any big city, it’s good to stay mindful. Stick to well-lit areas, leave flashy jewelry at home, and use Uber for longer distances at night.
