When should we RSVP by?

Please RSVP to all events by March 1st.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire please! Tux not required.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! There is a room block for our guests at The Grand Hotel and at the Hampton Inn Fairhope-Mobile. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn, you will have to coordinate your own travel to and from the venue.

What airport do you recommend to fly into?

Answer

Both Mobile and Pensacola take similar amounts of time to get to the hotels. Mobile typically has more traffic but is less miles. Our suggestion is to do whatever is cheapest.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As this is a very small wedding, please do not bring a date unless specified on your invitation.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from taking any pictures during the time of the ceremony. We are asking for the ceremony to be unplugged, as we will have amazing photographers and videographers to capture these special moments.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know. The bride is gluten free, so you are not alone (: We will have a vegetarian option at dinner as well.

Will the events take place indoors?

Answer

The welcome party and reception will take place indoors. The ceremony and cocktail hour, weather permitting, will be outdoors.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Unless specified on your invitation, we ask that children do not participate in the wedding ceremony and reception. If you would like further information on the possibility of a sitter, please reach out to Tom or Allie, as there will be a room available for them onsite.

What is the weather like this time of year in Alabama?

Answer

It is Alabama, so be prepared for some heat and humidity. The average weather during this time is anywhere between 65-85 degrees.

What are your favorite things to do at The Grand?

Answer

Sailing, biking, kayaking, and 4:00 high tea are some of the favorites. Bucky's Lounge is a great spot to listen to live piano, sit outside by the firepits, and have a nice glass of champagne. The spa is one of Allie's all-time favorites, complete with a beautiful quiet room. The pool is always a great time as well!

What are some of your favorite things to do in Fairhope?

Answer

The restaurants in Fairhope are wonderful! Panini Pete's is an all time favorite. And you have to get ice cream at Mr. Gene's Beans!
