Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

The ceremony and reception will both take place outside at Summerhouse Lavender Farm in Fennville, Michigan.

Where should we park?

Answer

Venue parking is limited, so please plan to park alongside the adjacent road (signs will provide direction), or feel free to rideshare in, whatever you are most comfortable with.

What should we wear?

Cocktail attire is a great place to start. The entire event will be outside, so please dress comfortably so you can enjoy the “fall garden party” vibe of the day.

Can we bring our child/children?

While we love everyone and their families, we kindly ask that only guests over 13 attend.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We’re getting married in Michigan, so there’s no guarantee what the weather will be like until it’s happening. However, Fennville averages a high of 60 degrees and a low of 50 degrees at the beginning of October.

What food will be offered?

Answer

We’ll have beer, wine, and a featured cocktail throughout the night. For dinner, we have tomato tarts and apricot glazed meatballs as appetizers. Caesar salad, parmesan crusted potatoes, and roasted broccolini are offered as sides, and finally braised beef and chicken kabobs will be the main course. We've prepared a table full of homemade desserts, and don't forget to roast some s'mores at the end of the night out by the fire pit.
