“We’re Getting Married”

We were just kids in crowded halls, before the world turned wide. Passing notes and shy hellos, never thought she’d change my life. Then I wore that uniform, left our hometown lights behind. Didn’t know I was leaving the one I needed most for all my life. I flew her out to Texas in March 2022 after all those silent years. We met at the rodeo, kissing her brought me to tears. Felt like the whole damn world stopped turning that night and we knew we’d been missing each other our whole lives. Then on the 7th of July 2025 in Hawaii, I dropped to one knee & Said… “Will you be my always?” and she said yes to me. We hit that highway west, with forever in our rearview. Our first stop at Upland Jr High where I first laid eyes on her. Now March 22nd 2026 is written down in gold, right back where it all began. I swear on my name, I wont lose her again. This ain't just love, it's back where it all began.
