Here is Kyle's version of how we met.... We were High School sweethearts. Kyle was the popular one, Christina was the nerd. If you believe that, we have a bridge to sell you... The truth and nothing but it! It began one afternoon in Mrs. Brandt's computer class at C.K. McClatchy High School. Christina sashayed in the classroom wearing brand new Air Jordan Spizike 'Kings County' shoes, decorated with cheetah print. Wittingly, Kyle's first words to Christina were, "I like your shoes, do they make you run fast?" She faked a smile, followed by a forced chuckle, and didn't talk to him the rest of the year, no matter how many times he shot his shot. Christina then left C.K. McClatchy High School for Hiram Johnson High School, (Kyle would like to clarify that this decision was NOT attributed to his persistent attempts to capture a smile). The years rolled on. Christina would later work at Gunther's Ice Cream where Kyle would occasionally see her but would be too shy to engage in conversation. While both attending Sacramento City College, Kyle and Christina found themselves in each others presence once again, enrolled in a Psychology of Death and Dying class. Kyle apologized to Christina for being an annoying freshman, 6 years prior, and promised his refined coolness now. Two times a week, they sat next to each other, often sharing a small bag of Cheez-Its, while watching assigned videos of decomposing bodies and learning about various cultural funeral practices. Their friendship began to grow. Next thing we knew, this friendship developed into a partnership. We now celebrate the eternal union of two high school knuckleheads on the journey of life together!
