We met during our freshman year at Iowa State University when we signed up for a spring break program in the Bahamas. Before jetting off, our travel group gathered for dinner at a restaurant in Ames. At dinner, we blindly ordered the same meal and were the only two people left from our group, talking and laughing until the restaurant closed. In the Bahamas, our friendship grew as we shared new experiences, went on adventures, and spent late nights walking on the beach. Despite Alex almost launching Caitlin from a jet ski, and Caitlin running Alex into traffic, the romance of the island must have been working its magic. We flew back to Iowa State with new friends, awesome tans, and plans to go on a sushi date. Needless to say, the sushi date went well, and here we are, six years later, to share our love with you!
