Matron of Honor
Jene' "skip the mocktail give me a cocktail" Vetter. She may be a new mom but that won't hold her back on her baby sister's wedding. Always there for you and keeping things fun, Jene' will likely be the first one on the dance floor, so keep an eye and meet her out there!
Officiant
Taylor "nope not Goldie Hawn" Roozen Our officiant, brother, and my best friend. Taylor taught me how to shotgun a beer using my thumb (a great party trick) and how to tie a fishing knot. Taylor and I are the closest in age of my five siblings and were best buds growing up, despite the times we would try to kill each other. Glad I outgrew him. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him.
Maid of Honor
Laura "tall drink of anything but water" Minch. I have a feeling we'll be recovering from the bachelorette party for years to come but I wouldn't have it any other way. Laura is the life of the party and has been there for many of my most questionable decisions, not including the engagement ;) Ladies and gents this is the gal you want by your side through the thick and thin.
Best Man
Bill "Where’s waldo" Roozen Best Man, brother, and my best friend. Bill taught me how to drink beer and flirt with girls. He's the reason I wanted to go to WSU and thus the reason I met Alana. Bill has become an amazing father and husband and I continue to look up to him. Looking to find brother Billo on our wedding night? Better search the outbuildings or a nice cool patch of grass, we’ve lost him a few times.
Bridesmaid
Emily "Nursing you from one hangover to the next" Reber Emmylou is the kind of gal who knows what is important in life, she always puts friends and family first and is my go to call when I need a shoulder to lean on. She will always stand by your side whether you are at the bar asking for another round or on your wedding day. Emmy loved Spence from the get-go and I wouldn't be getting married today without her telling me to follow my heart. From WSU to Wifey's I'd follow this girl wherever she leads, so let's get this conga line started!
Groomsman
Eric "jiggidy jensdog" Jensen, and my best friend. I’ve never met another person like Eric in my life. His persona makes everyone around him happier. I don’t know if it is possible to have a conversation with him without dying of laughter. Looking for a person to play beer pong with? He is my first choice.
Bridesmaid
Jaci "let me teach you a thing or two" Belur. Jaci is a teacher and being my oldest friend may have taught me a thing or two about friendship and loyalty and maybe a few more tips on how to survive our high school years and our 20's. I would not be who I am today without her optimism and "you can do anything" attitude. Be weary she may be your best friend by the end of the night too!
Groomsman
Brando "my favorite day is April 1st-Mendoza" or Brando " but first, let me take a selfie" Mendoza, and my best friend. Brandon and I took over where our dads left off at WSU. Brandon and I have taken advantage of every opportunity to screw with one another over the years. We spent our weekends in Pullman planning the best social functions, want to know more, just ask him. Brandon will be the one on the dance floor with the ripped hole in his pants, it never fails.
Bridesmaid
Sabrina "the party is never over" Taylor. She may be one of UW's biggest Dawg fans, but I won't hold that against her. The ultimate rally girl, she never let's the party stop. Sabrina welcomed me into Mount Vernon and her life with open arms and may just be the matchmaker you didn't know you needed. She is the gal who won't let you down and always wins in a shotgun race.
Groomsman
Cam "Let’s get this party started" Taylor, and my best friend. Need someone to get the dance party started? Look no further, he’ll be the one on the dance floor leading the way. Cam and I met in High School and have been best friends ever since. Cam is one of the most tolerable Huskies I know, but he’s still a Husky, Go Cougs!
Groomsman
Connor "Rocket Man" Johnson, and my best friend. Connor is my oldest friend and the stories we have together are endless. Connor and I defeated enemy troops in his family barn as kids, wore a path in the farm field between our houses visiting one another, raided our parents liquor cabinets, ran from the local authorities in Alaska, maybe that’s TMI.
Groomsman
Dayton "no, I don’t wax my brows" Huizinga, and my best friend. Dayton and I formed a friendship playing baseball together when we were younger, I practically lived at his house all through high school. We spent every weekend chasing ducks and exploring the river. After the wedding if you find yourself back at the casino follow his lead, I swear he always ends up on top. Cross your fingers for a Karaoke machine at the after party for his rendition of Livin’ La Vida Loca.
Groomsman
Duke "let's wake up at 4am to go fishing" Fisher, and my best friend. Not surprisingly Duke and I have formed a friendship over our love/obsession for fishing. Duke is a drop everything he’s doing and come help you kind of guy. Alana and I originally wanted to get married in a church but couldn’t find a church with tall enough doorways and feared that Duke might hit his head too many times. It’s no skin off my back, but there is not too much skin left on the top of his head.
Groomsman
Jason "Pop Pop "Lindeman, or Jason "lets drive to the casino and all put $20 on black" Lindeman, and my best friend. Jason was my first roommates at WSU, let’s just say it wasn’t my best scholastic year, needless to say we persisted and formed a life-long friendship. Looking to find Jason, he’ll be brewing an award-winning beer in La Conner. Looking for a good story? Ask him about his Tijuana tattoo.
