Question

Are you registered? Where? Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon! You should hopefully see it under the registry tab but if not, the link is: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/registry/2Q32PUU9E91RO Thank you so much!

Question

Are kids welcome?Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Kids under 10 do not count towards our number so we would love if they joined us. Just please give us an accurate count when you RSVP so we can prepare the proper amount of food/seating. If your child is over the age of 10, please reach out to us if they were not included on your invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

You are welcome to park in the parking lot for Bear Chase Brewery. The brewery is right next to the manor and has ample parking space. Please remember that we're jerks and getting married on a holiday so the brewery will be busy with lots of people and therefore cars!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Bear Chase Manor is a bit in the middle of nowhere! You're more than welcome to find a B&B if you'd like or the city of Leesburg, VA is approximately 30 minutes away and has a couple of hotels to choose from.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know if you have any food allergies that we should take into consideration. We will make sure you have plenty to eat at the reception! Please scroll down to see our full menu if you're interested.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! We know, we're jerks, and having not only a holiday wedding, but one in the middle of summer. It's going to be hot! Our only request is that if you're willing to indulge our kitschy wedding, wear the good ol' red, white, and blue. We will be eating BBQ, playing yard games, and even doing a couple of cannon balls in the indoor swimming pool (so bring a swim suite if you'd like)! Anything from dresses, to jeans, to patriotic onesies are good to us!

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a pretty strict guest limit due to the fire code, it's a small wedding. If there is someone you'd like to bring that we haven't accounted for in our numbers, please reach out to us. We will do our best to accommodate you! Please DO NOT bring someone without giving us prior notice - we can only have 50 people present and we would hate to make people leave. Also - sadly we are only 2 dogs on the property. We respectfully ask that you leave your four legged friends at home in the comfort of their own AC. Thank you!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The simple answer is a mix! Weather permitting, we will have the ceremony on the back lawn of the house, play yard games, eat some smores, and watch fireworks, all outside. The entirety of the house is ours for the weekend so we have AC to escape to if you get too hot and you can always take a quick dip in the pool to really reset!

Question

Is it open bar?Is it open bar?

Answer

We will have plenty of beer and wine to share with everyone! The plus side to getting married at a VRBO is that you may bring any liquor that you would like in addition to the beer and wine we will have. The downside is that we will not have a bar service - you'll need to crack open your own beer. We will of course have a variety of mixers ready for people as well (I think they're called soda?), iced tea, lemonade, and water so we don't die.

Question

Is there anything I should bring as a guest? Is there anything I should bring as a guest?

Answer

We'll be providing sunscreen, hand fans, and ice water to combat the heat during our outdoor ceremony, but we do suggest that guests bring a pair of sunglasses if they'd like so they can comfortably view the awesomeness of our wedding proceedings. There is an indoor pool, if you'd like to partake, a bathing suite is needed! Please also bring a towel, there will not be enough for all guests to have their own. If you would like to bring a change of clothes you are more than welcome! It's going to be hot, no one will judge you for bringing extra deodorant and a change of clothes. It can also get cool in the mountains during the evening, we encourage you to bring a sweater/hoodie/jacket if you get cold easily and plan to join us for fireworks.

Question

What kind of food will there be?What kind of food will there be?

Answer

It's the 4th of July! There will be BBQ! We plan on serving the following: Brisket Pulled Pork Hot Dogs Cheeseburgers/Hamburgers Mac n' Cheese Potato Salad Pasta Salad Baked Beans Coleslaw Cornbread We will also have a variety of appetizers out such as charcuterie, vegetable tray, watermelon slices, and dip. Later in the evening, we will be serving wedding cake, cake pops, pies, and smores!

For all the days along the way
