One of our favorite places to go "Up, Up and Away" from the hustle and bustle of the city. Connected to JFK airport, this mid century modern masterpiece by architect Eero Saarinen, with its signature Chili Pepper Red details, will transport you right back to 1965. Enjoy cocktails in the Sunken Lounge, browse the archives of TWA Flight attendant uniforms, or take a dip in the heated rooftop pool overlooking JFK's active runways. All of these can be accessed without even booking a room! Check out their website for more details.

The Transit Museum is dedicated to telling and preserving the stories of mass transportation—extraordinary engineering feats, communities that were drastically transformed, and the ever-evolving technology, design, and ridership of a system that runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The Transit Museum is located in a decommissioned subway station in Brooklyn, and accessible by over 20 bus and subway lines. The entrance to the Museum is down two flights of stairs.
