We are so excited to be getting married at Saureel Vineyards! It is a beautiful private estate that features a vineyard, stunning scenery, and a large pond. Our ceremony will be held outdoors and our reception will be held in the open barn.

How do I get to Saureel Vineyards?How do I get to Saureel Vineyards?

Saureel Vineyards is located at 1140 Cold Springs Rd in Placerville, CA. When you arrive at the venue, you will enter through the open gate and follow the long driveway down to the designated parking lot. There will be signage to guide you :)

What time does the ceremony begin?What time does the ceremony begin?

Promptly at 4 pm with cocktail hour to follow. Guests may begin arriving at 3:30.

What is the dress code?What is the dress code?

Cocktail Attire. This is a semi-formal dress code that's dressier than casual but less formal than black tie. No jeans please!

In October, Placerville is typically nice weather in the high 60s/low 70s. Of course we are hoping for the most perfect, sunny, fall day (please and thank you) but we will be partying rain or shine!

We have reserved room blocks at the Holiday Inn, El Dorado Hills and the Red Hawk Casino. See the "travel" page for more info on how to reserve your room!

What transportation options are there?What transportation options are there?

We are offering one way shuttle transportation following the reception for those who choose to stay at the Holiday Inn or the Red Hawk Casino. Guests are allowed to leave their cars at our venue, but must be picked up by 10 am the following morning.

Are Uber or Lyft options available?Are Uber or Lyft options available?

Answer

In a short response - not likely. Saureel Vineyards is located in wine country of Placerville, which is secluded with a lot of windy roads. Please do not rely on Uber or Lyft to take you to and from the wedding as there is no guarantee you will be able to book one due to its location.

This will be an adults only event, unless specifically told otherwise. Although we absolutely love your little ones, we kindly ask you to leave them with the babysitter and enjoy your night out :)
