Richard and Brooke first met at Engaging Heaven Church on October 1st of 2019. In February of 2020 Brooke began serving with the outreach team. Both were pleasantly surprised by one anothers passion to serve, and love for the Lord. Although neither were expecting it, they knew there was something very special unfolding. After much prayer and Pastoral counsel the inevitable happened and the two began dating. Their friendship blossomed as they spent a great amount of time adventuring outdoors, meeting one anothers families, and of course taking (frequent) trips to Friendly’s for take out ice-cream! On July 6th, of 2020, Richard proposed to Brooke in Newport, RI after a day filled with great fun: beach, parasailing, shopping, a fancy dinner and a walk to the cliffs just in time for sunset. Brooke was completely surprised and delighted to say “Yes!” If you’re reading this, they are honored to have you with them on this part of their journey. The best is yet to come! Thank you!
