Question

ARE PLUS-ONES AND CHILDREN ALLOWED?

Answer

While we may love your plus-one and your children, we ask that only invited guests join us on our big day. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Answer

Our wedding is located in downtown Baton Rouge. Please take the 1D exit on Interstate 110 to North Street/Capitol Park. Once on North Street, you will turn right onto North Fourth Street. When you turn onto North Fourth Street, you will see the Louisiana State Capitol building directly in front of you. The Capitol Park Museum will be on the right.

Question

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

Late February averages in Baton Rouge tend to be around the mid-40s to upper 60s. The museum 1st floor will be fully open during the reception for you to explore the 1st floor museum exhibits or relax inside. However, the ceremony and reception will be held outside the museum under their fully-covered plaza. We will have heaters outside in case the weather is colder than us southerners would prefer.

Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Our wedding will be a semi-formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or a blazer with dress pants. Ladies can opt for a floor-length gown, calf-length dress, formal cocktail dress, an elegant pantsuit, or dressy separates. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
