The Future Mr. & Mrs.

As you may have suspected, Matthew and Katelyn met each other at Mann Orchards. After months of work, a mutual friend and former employee tried convincing Matthew and Katelyn to date, as he felt they would make a good couple. Without much knowledge of who each other were, Matthew asked Katelyn on a date. Katelyn kindly declined Matthew's asking, as she wanted to focus on her school studies. Matthew, who was determined to get the answer he wanted, slipped Katelyn a small folded piece of paper with his number on it, while walking away saying, "Maybe when you're not busy with your studies, you can text me sometime." From that point, the rest was history. They talked everyday from that day forth, becoming the best of friends, and then recognizing their love growing bigger and deeper for one another. On April 4, 2015 Easter morning, Matthew asked Katelyn to be his girlfriend. This was the first time they shared the words, "I love you." This was just the beginning of their journey together.

Matthew and Katelyn shared Thanksgiving day with friends, traveling to New York City to spend the long weekend together. Katelyn was looking forward to the weekend away, as she believed they were secretly celebrating another couples recent engagement. Unbeknown to her, the bigger secret was one of the biggest surprises of her life yet. After several hours of being in New York City, everyone began getting ready for our first night out together. Everyone met at 'The Plaza' to take pictures in front of the beautifully, decorated Christmas tree. After each couple took pictures, Matthew and Katelyn took many pictures together. Matthew whispered softly in Katelyn's ear, "Let's take one more." Excited to hear, and while adjusting herself, Katelyn sensed a difference in Matthew's presence. Slowly turning, she saw him on one knee, asking the question we all long to hear, "Will you marry me?" With a rush of emotions, she answered "Yes!"
