We met at Angie’s cousin André Greyvenstein’s wedding on the 23rd of July 2022. Blake was not only a groomsman but also the MC. Neither of us expected our greatest love story to spark that day. But from that very first night, something just clicked. We hit it off like a house on fire! We danced, we laughed, we vibed and had an unforgettable time. The next morning we walked into breakfast hand in hand, already smitten. Angie’s mom even leaned over and asked Blake, “Have you ever had an Afrikaans meisie before?” The family were already getting ahead of themselves! From there, the sparks didn’t die down. Blake made the first move and came to visit Angie in Umhlanga, and soon after, Angie packed her bags and headed to Cape Town. Before long, she moved in — and that was that. No drama, no games, just an unexpected connection that felt like home. On the 23rd of August 2024, Blake proposed, and true to form, Angie almost ruined the proposal by blurting out that the setting was so romantic he “might as well propose.” He did. Shock, happy tears, and a resounding “yes” followed. The moment was magical. Together, we’ve grown, we’ve laughed, cried, we've inspired each other and challenged each other, and we’ve fallen more in love every single day. We are absolute soulmates, a match made in heaven. We’re so excited to be stepping into this new chapter as husband and wife. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you!
