What's the attire?

Answer

Our bridal party will be wearing black-tie attire, so we ask that you guys dress up too! We understand it will be outdoor spring wedding in Alabama, so we request cocktail attire, black-tie optional. It's an opportunity to dress up, relax, and enjoy an Italian-inspired evening. For example, this could mean knee to floor length dresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts and ties, full suits. Whatever you find is semi-formal and comfortable for the outdoors and makes you feel your best! We just request no jeans, boots, sneakers, or hats.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

There's an option on our website to view our registry. Otherwise, our registry can be found at Target! When in person or on the website, simply searching "Marissa Hadaway" will bring you to our registry! These gifts are best for helping us start our new life together.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please note that if your invitation includes a plus one, it will be clearly indicated on the envelope. We want to keep our ceremony and reception as intimate as possible, while also having a guest limit by the venue. We appreciate your understanding as we finalize our guest list.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To accommodate wedding planning best, please RSVP by May 1st, 2025. This way, we can properly gauge numbers, place settings, and personalized name cards. However, the sooner the better!

Are we able to bring children?

Answer

To create a more intimate atmosphere, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only event. Especially due to an outdoor ceremony overlooking a mountainside, it's simpler and more relaxing for parental minds to keep it child-free.

Are other forms of gifts welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Gift cards and cash are more than welcome. If purchasing gift cards, stores like Target, Amazon, IKEA, Home Depot, and Pottery Barn are incredibly useful. Or, even gift cards to restaurants like Texas Roadhouse, Chuys, Chili's, Starbucks, or grocery stores will be incredibly impactful to us newlyweds.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking available at the venue, however, all cars must be off the premise before 10:30pm. There is no overnight parking available at the venue, and you will unfortunately be fined by the venue if you stay any longer.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, please message Marissa Hadaway at (269) 364-9386. We will do our best to accommodate, but as we will have a set menu of Italian inspired food, it will be hard to avoid certain elements like dairy, gluten, and nut cross contamination.
