On May 2, 2019, Anna headed to her favorite college bar. Her best friend (and future Maid of Honor) Devyn texted, “You’re really going to like Danny.” Meanwhile, Danny saw a photo of Anna and called "dibs." Bold move—but it worked! They clicked instantly and spent the night chatting. A photo from that night still holds a special place in their hearts. On July 5, they had their first official date at Bartaco, and by August 4, they were officially a couple. The 2020 pandemic brought unexpected blessings—working and teaching from Danny’s basement, wine walks, and game nights deepened their bond. In 2021, they moved into their first apartment in Arlington, where their weekends were spent with the people they love, traveling or frequenting Bronson Bierhall and Ballston Local, their favorite bars. In 2024, during a family trip to Ireland for the Eras Tour, Danny proposed on the Salmon Weir Bridge in Galway. Afterward both families were waiting to celebrate.
