We recommend staying at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites, where many of our guests will be staying and where shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding. Additional nearby accommodations are also available if you prefer, but the Fairfield will be our main gathering spot for the weekend. More details, including booking information, can be found on our Travel page.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Sunset Ridge Estate, all in one location. Once you arrive, you’re settled for the evening. The address is 4707 Sugar and Wine Road, Monroe, NC 28210.
The wedding venue, Sunset Ridge Estate, is about a 25-minute drive from the Fairfield, where shuttle service will be picking up guests. Travel times may vary slightly, so we recommend allowing a little extra time — especially for the ceremony.
On the wedding day, there is ample parking available, but guests are again encouraged to ride the shuttle for convenience and peace of mind.
Transportation will be provided for the wedding, with shuttle service picking up and dropping off guests at the Fairfield to make getting to and from the venue easy. Additional timing and details will be shared closer to the wedding weekend, and we kindly encourage guests to take advantage of the shuttle. Transportation will not be provided for the welcome party. Guests are welcome to use rideshare services or drive, and parking will be available — come and go as you please as we kick off the weekend together.
Yes — rideshare services like Uber are available, though availability may be more limited around the venue since Monroe is a smaller town. Rides to and from the airport are typically easy, and trips between the hotel and welcome party should be smooth as well. For the wedding day, shuttle transportation will be provided from the Fairfield, which we recommend as the most reliable option.
Aim to arrive about 20–30 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to park OR even easier; take the shuttle, grab a drink and find your favorite seat. All event start times are listed on our Schedule page.
Please RSVP through our wedding website by visiting the RSVP page. You’ll be able to confirm your attendance and share any details we may need for the weekend.
Please RSVP by September 7th, 2026, to help us get everything ready for the big day — we can’t wait to see you there!
You can edit your RSVP directly through our wedding website. If you make any changes after September 7th, 2026, please reach out to us directly so we can do our best to accommodate your update.
To keep things intimate and meaningful, we’ve planned our guest list with care and can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. We hope you understand as we create space for our closest family and friends.
We love the families that make up our circle — and the little ones who bring so much joy. The wedding day itself will be an ADULTS-ONLY celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening!
There are two main events to our fun weekend ahead — the Welcome Party and the Wedding. Don’t stress, we’ve outlined a little attire inspiration below to help you pack with confidence and capture the vibe of each celebration. Our welcome party will be an indoor/outdoor celebration — think Southern Casual. Picture easy, polished pieces you’d wear for cocktails and conversation: relaxed dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy tops with jeans or trousers. Gentlemen, collared shirts with chinos or dark denim are perfect. We recommend comfortable shoes and layers so you’re ready to mingle wherever the evening takes us. For our wedding day, we’d love for everyone to embrace Formal (Black Tie Optional) attire. Think timeless and elegant with a touch of fall romance — moody hues, rich fabrics, and silhouettes that feel evening-ready. Floor-length gowns, dressy midis, or chic jumpsuits for women; tuxedos or dark suits and ties for men are perfect. We’ll be celebrating both indoors and out, so plan for the October chill and a little grass underfoot — block heels, boots, or dress shoes will serve you well!
The ceremony will take place outdoors in the sunshine, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour as the sun begins to set. Dinner and dancing will be held under a tent, fully covered and out of the sun. We recommend dressing with layers in mind so you’re comfortable throughout the evening.
October in North Carolina is one of our favorite times of year. Days are typically mild and sunny, with daytime temperatures averaging in the 70s and evenings cooling into the 50s–60s. As with any fall evening, temperatures can dip once the sun goes down, so a light layer is always a good idea.
We ask that our ceremony be completely unplugged — no phones, cameras, or recording of any kind. We’ve hired a professional photography team to capture the moment, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you afterward. Once cocktail hour begins, feel free to take photos and videos throughout the celebration! We’ll also have an easy way to share your favorites from the cocktail hour and reception so we can relive the weekend through your eyes, too.
Please share any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP — there will be a space to note them. If you feel something needs extra attention or clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out. We want everyone to feel comfortable and well taken care of.
Celebrating with us is the greatest gift of all. If you’d like to mark the occasion with something extra, we’re registered at Crate & Barrel — thank you for thinking of us.
Yes — there is a rain plan in place. No need to worry, everything has been thoughtfully arranged so the celebration will go on comfortably, rain or shine.
For day-of details, please refer to the schedule in your welcome bag or check the wedding website — both will have everything you need. If something comes up, we kindly ask that you resist the urge to call or text the bride or groom (they’ll be busy soaking it all in). Thank you for helping us stay present and enjoy every moment!
