We met thanks to some amazing friends who introduced us at a city-wide young adult church event, and we found that we clicked pretty much right away. Ten days later, we went on our first date at a local coffee shop, and our friendship has continued to develop and deepen since then. Michael is in his senior year studying aerospace engineering at Wichita State University while also working as an intern at the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR). Outside of school and work, he is into health & fitness, bodybuilding, and the Chicago Bears. (El appreciates the brains AND biceps.) Eliana currently works at Textron Aviation. In her free time, she also enjoys fitness as well as stargazing, visiting coffee shops, and making her own coffee drinks. Thanks to many coffee dates and late nights outdoors looking at the night sky, she has successfully converted Michael into enjoying both more than he ever thought he would. Some of our favorite ways to spend time together include worship nights, four-hour walks outside, cooking, listening to jazz music, and spending afternoons in various coffee shops. We are incredibly grateful for the friends that brought us together, the people who have poured into our relationship from the beginning, but most importantly, our gracious and loving Father in heaven who has given us the blessing of knowing each other. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
