Taking it back to high school, Natalie and Dylan met through their mutual friend Alyssa, one of Natalie's bridesmaid. They became friends first, seeing each other at bonfires, going to high school sports events together and of course the occasional house party (sorry mom and dad)! Dylan joined the Marine Corps after high school and they parted ways, only for Dylan to come back after bootcamp and Natalie and him to pick up where they left off. When he went back to training, they stayed in touch, Natalie still remembers him calling her on Thanksgiving that year even though they weren't even officially together. When he came back for Christmas that year, they spent as much time together as they could. They went out to dinner with Natalie's parents for the first time at Margarita's on New Years Eve before they went to a NYE party. This was the first boy that Natalie had ever introduced to her parents. This is where they had their first NYE kiss on the ball drop and Dylan (finally) asked Natalie to be his girlfriend! Dylan was still active duty military, and would be for the next 3.5 years. Natalie went to visit him in Southern California as much as she was able while finishing high school. She then went on to start college in SoCal where they were no longer long distance, for a year. Dylan was then deployed and Natalie moved back to Maine to finish college here. After a long 8 months, Dylan got back from deployment with only a few months left in the military, he moved home and started college himself. Natalie's friends became Dylan's friends and vice versa. They have come to develop friendships with so many amazing people through their own relationship. It is something that makes their partnership so incredible. They now have been working towards furthering their careers, building a life together and raising their very handsome black lab, Lincoln. Dylan proposed on 9/3/2023 at Ferry Beach in Scarborough, Maine. That brings us to today: The wedding of these two special people who have so much love for each other and for their lives together.
