What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. Dress code is semi-formal to dressy casual. Gentlemen are welcome to wear slacks, khakis, button down shirts, collared shirts, or suits! Ladies are welcome to wear cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, rompers, or skirts! Please keep in mind that our wedding ceremony will be held outside, while our reception will be held indoors. No jeans and ladies, try to avoid white/ivory!

Am I allowed to bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only accommodating those guests formally invited. If you received a plus one, his or her will appear under your name when you go to RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to make this an adult-only event with the exception of close family. If your child is invited, his or her name will appear under your name when you go to RSVP. Plus, you could use this night as a date night! Thank you for understanding.

When am I allowed to take pictures?
Answer
Our ceremony is going to be "unplugged". We are paying for a professional photographer to capture our special day and would appreciate if you kept all cell phones, cameras, and video recorders in your pockets or bags. With that being said, during our reception you are more than welcome to take all the pictures and videos you'd like! We would love to see your photos of our celebration! Thank you for understanding!

Are there places to stay near the venue if we live out of town?
Answer
Yes! Oakhaven Properties is within 30 minutes or less of Danville, VA. Under the travel tab, we have listed a few hotels in the area.
Question
When should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony is set to start at 4:30 pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure you have plenty of time to park and walk down to the ceremony site.
