Yes, we got married at sunrise on March 17th on the beach in the town of Kailua-Kona, HI. We tied the knot in an intimate private ceremony. We loved the idea of having our most special moment being for just us two to share. We had an amazing honeymoon on the Big Island and Maui.

Why March 17th?

Answer

The original plan was to get married on Pi day, March 14th. A large Kona storm made landfall the morning of our ceremony and we had to use our alternative day of March 17th. We were prepared for this scenario and our officiant handled everything.

No invite?

Answer

Sorry y'all. We wanted one of the most important day of our lives to be just for the two of us. Neither one of us is a big fan of celebrating ourselves or having the attention all on us. We wanted our wedding to be about our love and less of a performance.

Emily made this wedding website to be able to show all of our friends and family the photos from our big day.

Why have a registry?

Answer

Being the non-traditional people that we are, we were not going to have a registry at all, but when those close to us heard the news of our wedding they begged us to set up a registry.
