Mary Borges

Maid of Honor

Mary is Therese’s sister. She has been my lifelong confidant and best friend. She’s the best sister and we have been through so much together. I could not imagine my life without her and I am so grateful she will be by my side for this big life event.

Abigail Knopf

Bridesmaid

Abigail and I met freshman year of college and the shenanigans and fun have continued since. We know how to have a good time with one another and also have helped one another through the serious moments in life. I’m excited to walk into this next stage of my life with her by my side.

Sarah Hill

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I have known one another since since high school. We reconnected when I moved back to Milwaukee after moving around in pursuit of my doctorate. I’m so happy we reconnected and our friendship has grown so much. I am so grateful to have her in my life and consider her one of my very best friends. I also moved in three doors down from her!

Britt Frozé

Bridesmaid

I Met Britt a few years back through mutual friends and she has been such a kind and supportive light in my life. We both have a passion for our pups and enjoy getting them together for puppy play dates. We have a great time together and I am so happy she will be a part of this journey with me!

Hanna Skaraas Johnsen

Bridesmaid

Hanna is my brother Paul’s partner and a wonderful human being. We are so happy Paul has brought her kind soul into our lives and I am beyond thrilled she will be part of our special day. She is traveling all the way from Norway to be here and we are so grateful!

Jay Matthes

Best Man

Jay and Evan met in high school and after a guitar solo duel, created the legendary band "Turn and Cough." Jay has continued to grow musically since and has many great original songs. If you somehow haven't heard him yet, you should leave this site right now and check him out. Over the years they have been to numerous concerts, poker nights, brewers games and on other great adventures. Jay has been a true friend through the years and Evan is honored to have him as his Best Man.

Josh Pinter

Groomsman

Josh and Evan met back in high school through cross country and Josh continued on to run for Marquette. They shared a drive for competition and played against/together in a variety of sports including pickleball, handball and volleyball. Josh has always been a positive encouragement for Evan with regards to running and he may just break 5:00 in the mile one of these years with his support. Evan is looking forward to having Josh by his side on his wedding day.

Paul Gutmann

Groomsman

Paul and Evan also met back in high school through cross country where Paul was a great model for the rest of us to learn from. He continued his running career at UW - Parkside. Paul is the one to blame for Evan getting into trout/salmon fishing after they caught 11 fish in under 2 hours his first time going out. They have fished many times since and Paul holds the record for the largest salmon on Evan's boat at over 18 lbs. There will certainly be many more fishing trips in the future!

Chris Orvold

Groomsman

If you haven't noticed a theme yet...Evan and Chris also met through cross country in high school and Chris also ran UW-Parkside. Chris has also been a solid fishing partner, handball doubles partner, and a great friend to have a beer and play the guitar together with. Evan is happy to have Chris by his side during this exciting day.

Craig Dacquisto

Groomsman

Craig, aka "Doc" met years back through volleyball and mutual friends and have been roommates a couple times over the years. Doc has been an amazing friend and an excellent fishing partner and helped Evan learn how to back up a trailer and launch a boat, witnessing his many mistakes along the way. Evan is excited to have such a great and loyal person by his side on his wedding day.

Rob Hesselberg

Usher

Evan didn't run in high school with Rob, but rather met him through volleyball and then more importantly, became better friends through fishing. Rob has been dedicated and works part time as a first mate with some of the Milwaukee charters and has become a great fisherman. Evan has been able to learn a lot through Rob's experience and knowledge. They have had many fishing trips, some successful, some not so much that have made for some great stories. With Rob's help, Evan thinks he will finally break 20 lbs next salmon season.

Alex Woodington

Usher

Alex is Evan's sister who has been the best sibling he could ask for. From building legos to being the second player in video games (or sometimes just patiently watching for hours...Evan has no idea how) and most importantly someone that has always been available to listen or help when needed. There is nothing closer than the bond siblings share and Evan is very happy to have Alex there with him on his big day!

Paul Borges

Usher

Paul is Therese's brother and although he has spent a lot of time in Denmark and most recently moved to Norway, Paul quickly became a good friend to Evan and is an important person in Therese and Evan's lives. He shares an appreciation of great food and good beer and they are always excited when he is able to visit. Evan and Therese are looking forward to Paul being there on their wedding day and Evan is excited to have a great future brother-in-law.

Cannon Miller

Ring Bearer

Cannon is Therese’s nephew (Mary’s son) and one awesome dude! We are so excited to have him as our ring bearer and can’t wait to see him tear up the dance floor with his sweet moves at the reception!

Mason Maloney

Flower Girl

Mason is our soon to be niece (Mary’s fiancé’s daughter) but she already is family to us! We are so honored to have her as our flower girl for our big day and can’t wait to celebrate with her!

For all the days along the way
