We know most of you are coming a long way for our wedding. Here is some information about how to get here and where to stay. The buses will pick you up for the wedding in front of the bar "El Brillante" in Atocha (Pl. del Emperador Carlos V, 8, 28012 Madrid) on Saturday, June 11 at 5:15PM. We have deals with two hotels, but you are free to book your own lodging as well. Our recommendations for neighborhoods to stay in are: Malasaña (young and hip), Chueca (LGBT friendly and vibrant) or Huertas (the literary district full of history). Anything near Gran Vía, Plaza de España or Plaza Mayor would be great as well.

This hotel is also extremely close to where buses will pick you up. You can email them to make a reservation at groups@rafaelhoteles.com and let them know it's for Jaime and Theresa's wedding. We have a block of rooms reserved from June 10-12 at a special price of 110€ (single room) or 124€ (double room) per night.

Train

Renfe

Spain has an amazing train system! You can pretty much get anywhere in the country by train (sometimes even high-speed) and it's more hassle-free than flying. You can book all travel directly through the Renfe website.

Flight

Madrid-Barajas Airport

The easiest airport to fly into and located close to the city. You can get to the city center by metro or by taxi, which is a 30€ flat rate.
