We're getting Married!

After being friends for a while, we began spending more time together to train for a half marathon in Chicago. Over a few months of long training days, skipping scheduled runs to get ice cream instead, and spending more time together outside of running, we fell in love. We have not done any races since then, but we have had many more fun adventures!

After Theresa graduated from grad school, we took a long road trip to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah, a trip we had been talking about for a year prior! During the trip, we attempted the infamous Angel's Landing hike. After Sergio completed a portion of the hike and Theresa patiently waited for Sergio, we switched up our plan and headed out on the more hiker-friendly West Rim Trail. We instantly fell in love with this trail due to the amazing views and lack of crowds. While Theresa posed for a few quick pictures, Sergio got down on one knee to pop the question.
