What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm. Kindly try to arrive for 2:30 pm. You know yourself, please be there before the bride.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden/Cocktail Attire. You know what to wear to a wedding 😊 (bonus points for animal onesies)

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would like to have an uplugged ceremony and kindly request that you refrain from taking any photos during the actual ceremony. Many of you will have traveled a long way to be with us, and we would like you to be fully present and sharing in our joy. After the "I do's" you are welcome to snap away. Our only request is that you tag your photos with our wedding hashtag #FromDaeguToIDo so we can keep track of all of those lovely pictures.

Of course! Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.

Are there any other wedding-related events that I should know about?

Answer

If you haven't partied yourself out, please join us the following day in Limerick City (our hometown) for a few drinks and many laughs. Saturday, 11 June, 4pm - The Locke Bar 3 George's Quay, Limerick, V94 K8KX

What is the best way to get to Killaloe/Ballina?

Answer

The easiest way is to drive. If hiring a rental car, please remember that the Irish drive on the left and love their roundabouts and narrow country roads. There are limited buses running from Limerick City to Ballina/Killaloe. Please check www.buseireann.ie for schedules.

We're not staying at the Lakeside Hotel, how do we get around in Killaloe/ Ballina?

Answer

Killaloe and Ballina are small towns, and are walkable in the town centers. However, due to their size, normal taxis (FreeNow App in other major cities) do not run there. If your accommodation is further out or you wish to not drive to the hotel, you can contact: John Sheehy Cabs +353 087 905 1877 Exit 27 Cabs +353 87 727 2727 We recommend prebooking the taxis.

How is the weather in Ireland during June?

Unpredictable. From what can look like a glorious sunny day one minute, can suddenly turn into a thunderstorm the next. Come prepared, yes, bring your summer clothes, but also your rain gear!
