The answer here is no. Although we love Elvis and think this is a great addition to any Vegas wedding, we also think it's cliche and want to avoid being known as the "cheesy Vegas wedding couple". Cleary if you know us, we are the "geeky Vegas wedding couple".
Why not? It is a fun location that everyone can agree is indeed fun. And also, Sam's family is a 5-hour drive away. We want all of our family to join us for our wedding.
We opted to not include an RSVP card with our wedding invitations and encourage everyone to RSVP on the RSVP tab of this website.
Yes, it is early for a wedding ceremony, but we love breakfast foods and unlimited mimosas sound like a fun time. This also gives us the full day to enjoy each other and all that Vegas has to offer.
Yes!! Absolutely and the bride and groom will be the ones leading the way. Picture Elaine from Seinfeld....just sayin.
Well....first and foremost, please wear comfortable clothing. We won't judge you to your face if you are wearing jeans and a t-shirt. We are getting married in an almond grove, so appropriate footwear is highly recommended. The temperature ranges between about 65 and 90 degrees in Vegas in May. That should help you decide.
Yes. We've hired a shuttle to pick up anyone who needs a ride from the Flamingo Casino & Hotel to the wedding venue and back to the Flamingo after our planned photo op spots.
Any photo from you leaving your homes, travelling to Vegas, the hotel, the meals, the wedding ceremony, reception, photo ops, additional events....any photos you'd like to share with the happy couple and their group of friends and family. We want to see how much fun everyone is having.
Yes. We are working on planning a photo op after the wedding reception at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. This will be open to anyone attending the wedding. We planned a group reservation at Carlos 'n Carlies Mexican resturant for dinner. We have also rented a pod on the High Roller Ferris Wheel for our entire group to ride in VIP style. The bride would love for you to get drinks with the happy couple at I LOVE SUGAR. We have added them to the schedule section of this website. Dinner and drinks will be the guests responsibility to pay for, so please plan accordingly.
No. We are graciously declining gifts as your presence in Las Vegas is the most important thing to us (Plus, we understand that travelling with any gifts is extra stressful). There will not be a gift table or card box at our reception. If you would like to send us a card of congratulations, we ask that you mail it to us at 31 May St, Fort Edward, NY 12828 after you return from Las Vegas.
In order to get everyone information the day of the wedding, we will be using a What'sApp group chat. This is where you will find the location & times of shuttle pick up and where we will be other times during the weekend...in case you'd like to join us.
