Things To Do

Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge

San Francisco, CA

If you are stopping in San Francisco or traveling direct from SFO Airport, consider taking the scenic route and drive over the Golden Gate Bridge! There are parking lots on either side of the bridge where you can pull over and take pictures.

Wine Tasting

Wine Tasting

This one is obvious and you really can’t go wrong in wine country. Here are just a few of our favorite: Schramsberg Vineyards (Calistoga) Hall Wines (St. Helena) Viansa Winery (Sonoma) Darling Wines (Sonoma) Roche Winery (Sonoma) Kunde Family Winery (Kenwood)

Sonoma

Sonoma

453 1st St E, Sonoma, CA 95476

Sonoma's Plaza is a charming area full of shops, tasting rooms, restaurants and historic landmarks. Consider grabbing breakfast at Sunflower Cafe and be sure to check out The Sonoma Mission. If you are planning on being in the area for July 4th, Sonoma is one of America's best towns for Independence Day. Travel + Leisure has ranked it in the Top 10. Downtown Sonoma is a 20 minute drive from Napa.

Napa Valley Vine Trail

Napa Valley Vine Trail

Rent bikes and tour Napa Valley on this scenic 12.5 mile flat trail. You can pick up bikes in downtown Napa and end in the cute town of Yountville (or the other way around). The trail is lined with wineries that you can stop at along the way.

Napa Golf Course

Napa Golf Course

2295 Streblow Drive, Napa, CA 94558

Ryan taught Theresa how to golf on this course! There are many other golf courses in the area for every experience level and budget.

Oxbow Public Market

Oxbow Public Market

610 1st Street, Napa, CA 94559

This marketplace is right in downtown Napa. You’ll find artisan vendors, the best in wine and craft beer, and a variety of dining options all in one place. We recommend trying a burger from Gott’s Roadside or the oysters from Hog Island.

Sonoma Grey Barn Farm

Sonoma Grey Barn Farm

790 Peru Road, Sonoma, CA 95476

Sunflower and Lavender season is mid-June to mid-July. This family-owned flower farm allows you to walk through the rows, take pictures and pick your own fresh flowers. Appointments are required.
