Getting to Taos

The Wedding Website of Theresa Clare Aragón and Ryan Andres Alberdi
If you are flying into New Mexico, the following are travel options for getting to Taos. There is very limited availability when it comes to public transportation so renting a car is probably your best bet. There are a few Ubers and Lyfts, but not many....Taos is very small :) Option 1: Fly into Albuquerque Sunport and drive to Taos. Option 2: Fly direct into Taos through Texas or California Option 3: Fly direct from Orlando to Albuquerque Find more details about each option below!

Flight

Option 1: Albuquerque to Taos

Once you arrive at the Albuquerque Sunport Airport, it will take about 2.5 hours to get to Taos. The drive will take you through Santa Fe and you will follow the Rio Grande through a beautiful canyon. It is not a boring drive and there is plenty to see along the way if you have the time!

Option 2: Direct Flight to Taos

**Due to Covid-19, these flights have been temporarily suspended. We will be updating our website with the information once the flights start up again. There are direct flights to the Taos airport from the following locations: Austin, TX: Austin-Bergstrom International Dallas, TX: Dallas Love Field Los Angeles, CA: Hawthorne Municipal Airport Carlsbad, CA: McClellan-Palomar Airport Once in Taos, you can rent a car from Enterprise or there is Uber and Lyft.

Option 3: Fly direct from Orlando to Albuquerque

As of right now, there is only one direct flight from Florida to New Mexico. Allegiant offers this flight twice a week from Orlando to Albuquerque. The times are a little strange, but the flights are cheap!
